Selkirk Judo Club

Club Activities

The Selkirk Judo Club offers its members the opportunity to practice judo for recreation or competition. We offer athletes a comprehensive program that emphasizes fun, fitness and personal development. We offer a complete athlete development program, as well as tournament travel (local and out of province). Each year, we run trips to tournaments such as the Saskatchewan Open in Regina, the Edmonton International, the Lake of the Woods Open in Kenora and the Am-Can International Judo Challenge in Buffalo, New York.

The Club offers more than judo classes and tournaments, however. We also offer a number of social activities over the course of the year for members and their families. The aim is create a fun atmosphere in which to learn judo by fostering friendships among our members and their families.

We are able to provide these events at reasonable cost thanks to a hardworking group of dedicated volunteers that run our events and fundraise over the course of the year to support our judo program and social events.
